Cameron Diaz to quit again amid onset chaos

Cameron Diaz retired from Hollywood in 2018. Her return on screen was much appreciated and cheered by her fans all across the globe, but it took a bad turn when it was reported that Jamie went through a bad breakdown on the shooting set of their Netflix movie. This led to the firing of four people from the staff.
Sources have reported that Cameron won’t return to the world of movies after finishing up the current project. She’s had a tough time distanced from her family and she intensely dislikes all sorts of drama that occur very frequently on shooting sets.
Diaz in the film world
Diaz made her debut in the film world in the year 1994 in ‘The Mask’ opposite Jim Carrey. It was a huge success and ensured Diaz a great acting career ahead. Later, she starred in several successful films, including, ‘There’s something about Mary’, ‘Gangs of New York’ and ‘The holiday’ etc. She received words of appreciation for the terrific roles played in ‘Vanilla sky’, ‘In her shoes’, and ‘Being John Malkovich’.
Over the last two decades, Cameron faced the media proudly after successfully giving the world 40 films. It wasn’t long ago when she was the highest-paid actress in Hollywood. She has received numerous accolades. She has been nominated for four golden globe awards and one British Academy Film Award.
The reason why she chose to retire in 2018 was mainly focused on wanting to spend more time with her husband Benji Madden. Benji is an American musician and songwriter.
He is famously known for being the guitarist and the vocalist for the ‘Good Charlotte’ band. After enjoying the young dating phase, Diaz and Foxx read their wedding vows in 2015.
They were blessed with a baby daughter in December 2020. They have rejoiced in keeping their family life behind the curtains and have been very particular about it.
Sources also reported that Benji has always been a very supportive partner to Cameron. He appreciated his wife’s decision to end the retirement phase and celebrated her comeback. It wasn’t all good when Cameron’s un-retirement phase took a toll on Benji. Although Cameron visits her family often, it doesn’t feel the same to Benji.
Cameron adores her role as a mother the most and continuous working hours have been a little too much for her to take. She hates being away from home and her little three years old daughters, Raddix.
Post announcement of her retirement from Hollywood, Cameron focused on other ventures. She created her wine brand called Avaline. Avaline was launched with her business partner Katherine Powers in 2020.
This venture worked as a perfect creative outlet for Cameron and she put her heart and soul into making this a huge success. Her baby, Avaline grew well and it is one of the many things that Cameron is super proud of.
Cameron’s last film was a starter with Jamie, after which she announced her retirement. Her retirement in 2018 was announced by Jamie through his official Twitter account in June 2022.
Her friend Jamie Foxx brought her out of her retirement phase, to then be the female lead in the Netflix action comedy, ‘Back In Action’. The movie’s title also stands perfect for welcoming back Cameron in front of the spotlights. Jamie was the only reason why Cameron signed up for this film.
Backstage drama
Seth Gordon’s movie was plagued by offscreen drama with Foxx throwing tantrums on the shooting set.
Actor Jamie Foxx allegedly suffered a bad breakdown on the set of ‘Back In Action’. Jamie’s outburst on the set led him to fire an executive producer, two directors, and his driver.
In the same episode, it was found that an individual from Jamie’s staff was involved in a scam and was attempting to dupe Foxx for a huge amount of $40,000. With police being called to the set, it became a perfect on-set chaos kind of situation.
The same reason that encouraged Diaz to take up retirement, came up yet again. The film became a bit of a nightmare for the stars.
The news of Cameron quitting acting again has been in the air, after Jamie’s meltdown. And sources reported that even though the retirement plan aired after Jamie’s meltdown, it has nothing to do with it.
He remains to be a beloved friend of Cameron and he was the sole reason why she chose to be a part of this Netflix film.
Foxx and Cameron have been friends for years and have made memories of working together in the past. In 1999, ‘Any given Sunday’ starred the two, followed by a remake of ‘Annie’ in 2014.
Cameron talks about her friend Jamie with a wide smile on her face, she said in an interview last September that Jamie is great, he is very professional and superbly talented.
